Amphitheatre view

We lived and worked for ten years in South Africa. We bought our first house in Jukskei Park and Duncan was born while we lived there. We then built a house in LONEHILL but it wasn't really what we wanted so we bought a plot in Knoppieslaagte. When we decided to leave South Africa the hardest thing I had to do was sign the document of Sale. It was a world in itelf - see what you think ... KNOPPIES ..

Stay on this page for some more views of the Drakensberg and the Cape. There are also some photos of these places in the Great Photos section.

The view at the very top of this page was from the back of our hotel - the high plateau is the top of the Amphitheatre. During our stay we climbed up to the top with the kids. This was an interesting walk as, in order to get to the top, you had to go up the chain ladders!
