I don't see how anyone could be interested in fishing so if you want to get right off this page just click here HORSES . Nobody will object if you miss this fishing page out completely.

Oh well, no accounting for taste.......

Fishing - Colin encouraged us all to have a go with varying degrees of success as you will see. Les is also in the these photos as he is another sad fisherperson and when he visited us he and Colin would always do some fishing.

Colin fishing UK Sue fishing Scotland Duncan fishing SA Ben fishing SA
Colin came already
with the bug.
I tried but
horses are better.
Duncan tried -
he didn,t see the point.
..but Col got Ben young
and he was hooked.
Hammerhead shark We went fishing off the Kenya coast. On one trip Colin caught a sailfish. It was quite magnificent and tail walked when it was first hooked. Les got the hammerhead shark but he would have lost it at the last if the skipper had not grabbed it around the head. I went with them on both occasions which I thought was very brave as I get seasick.

Turkana
Col and Les went to Turkana - the jade sea. This was their hotel.
In fact they had a great time. Colin caught a 105 pound Nile perch and so joined the 100 pounder club. However the fish is not pictured here so proof I assume lies in the Turkana annals.
Next there are some very fishy pictures. Note how much of each person is displayed along with their fish.
Colin & Nile perch Les & Nile perch My Scottish trout. The first is Col, then Les
and finally me.
I think the pictures
speak for themselves!
Finally some pictures of people fishing.

... and finally which fish did he catch?

Evolving fish?
